Invest in the Future of Compact Energy Systems
HERE & NOW: a modular hybrid-electric engine platform turning every motion into usable power.
HERE First-Energy Technology is building a new category of power system. Not an engine with some electronics attached—but a unified rotary-electric platform where every major rotating component contributes to electrical generation, boosting, or stabilization. Our goal: dramatically improve energy use in vehicles, vessels, aircraft, and generators without requiring the world to abandon combustion overnight.
A World That Still Runs on Engines
Despite rapid growth in batteries and fuel cells, most of the world’s power still comes from combustion engines—especially where weight, range, and refueling speed matter. Marine, aviation, defense, heavy-duty transport, remote power, and powersports all rely on compact, high-density energy sources.
Traditional engines in these spaces are:
-
Heavy for the power they deliver
-
Mechanically complex
-
Inefficient at part-load
-
Difficult to hybridize cleanly
There is a significant opportunity for compact, efficient, hybrid-ready engines that can slot into existing markets while enabling a more electrified future.
A Platform, Not Just an Engine
HERE & NOW is a hybrid-electric rotary engine system designed as a platform:
-
HERE is the primary rotary-electric generator: an 800 cc module that produces steady electrical power with minimal parasitic losses.
-
NOW is a companion module that adds instant torque, boosting support, and stabilization. It can operate with or without combustion, functioning as an e-supercharger or stand-alone generator.
Together, they form a naturally balanced, naturally twin-charged energy system that:
-
Reduces or eliminates many traditional accessories
-
Recovers energy from multiple sources
-
Operates efficiently across a broad power band
-
Designed to be multi-fuel capable
Compact Power, Broad Envelope
In an 800cc Single-Rotor configuration, the HERE module is designed to evolve along this path:
-
Base HERE (naturally aspirated):
~11–14 kW continuous electric output (conservative operating band) -
HERE + NOW (mild boosted configuration):
~16–20 kW continuous with electrically assisted boosting -
HERE + NOW + forced-induction options:
~20–27 kW design envelope with exhaust energy recovery
All within a targeted ~125 kg class package including modular boosting and energy-recovery hardware, designed for replaceability and customization.
Initial Markets
We are focusing early development on:
-
Marine hybrid propulsion and auxiliary power
-
Powersports & light automotive range extender applications
-
Defense – tactical generators, mobile power, and auxiliary propulsion
-
Stationary power – compact, high-efficiency generator sets
Each of these markets values high power density, modularity, and efficiency, and can adopt HERE & NOW with less infrastructure disruption than a pure battery or hydrogen-only solution.

It is being built to change how power systems are designed, deployed, and scaled. We are selective by design as time is the most important resource.
The HERE-NOW Architecture
HERE is the primary energy generator: a rotary-electric module tuned for steady, efficient operation. Instead of driving multiple external accessories, HERE integrates electrical generation and energy-recovery mechanisms directly into the rotating assembly.
NOW is the stabilizing torque and boosting element. Depending on the configuration, NOW can function as:
-
a micro-combustion pulse engine,
-
a fuelless electromagnetic torque generator, or
-
an electrically assisted supercharger.
Together, HERE & NOW form a system that adapts dynamically to fuel type, load demands, assisted boosting, and acoustic/combustion tuning. HERE can operate alone for compact powersports or lightweight aviation roles, or paired with NOW for early torque, broader power bands, and extended efficiency in powersports, automotive, marine, defense, heavy-duty, and generator-set applications.
Specifications & Technical Outlook
(Presented as design envelopes, not final tested values with our ideal embodiment)
HERE: an 800 cc rotary-electric module, which comes in single or multi-rotor configurations, where every major rotating component contributes to power generation. The architecture is designed to scale from a 10 kW-class unit in its simplest form to a 20–25 kW-class module as boosting and energy-recovery stages mature. Preliminary operating envelopes (design intent):
Naturally Aspirated Single-Rotor (baseline module)
Approx. 11–14 kW continuous electric output (Assumes conservative 6–8 bar operating pressure; steady 3,600 rpm genset speed)
HERE Single-Rotor + NOW (mild electrically assisted boost)
Approx. 16–20 kW continuous (Approx. 8–11 bar effective operating pressure)
HERE Single-Rotor + NOW + Forced-Induction Options
Approx. 20–27 kW design envelope (With additional exhaust-energy recovery and pressure-boosting modules)
The entire system targets a compact ~125 kg class package with modular replacement for minute repairability, not days, along with diverse customization options tailored for specific uses.
Full technical details are available upon request under NDA.
